Winter Surf Season Recap 2014; Pipeline
The surf on the North Shore of Oahu is up! This was the second time I got to prove myself of how much my surf photography has improved over the years and to break the bearier of fearing dangerous surf conditions by swimming out in it to shoot photos. This was a memorable time of my photography career and also my second attempt at the 2014-15 Steep and Deep photo contest. This contest has inspired and driven me to push my limits to get the best shots of surfers out in the bigest conditions ive experienced in my life, often risking my life at the same time too. Now today, my experience with surf photography has improved while also learning from the pros, once I invest in better equipment, I'll be able to get even more crazy photos and more recgonization of who I am. As for now, I consider myself one of the "Underdogs."

Mikey Bruneau dropping in on the biggest set of the day. December, Pipeline.

December saw one of the most perfect conditions out of the entire winter surf season for 2014.

Its not the best feeling in the world when you wipeout at Pipeline during big surf, Ive witnessed broken boards but never serious injuries.Sometimes you have to take a beating and keep on practicing to master the spot here.
